Maryland Chapter
Share |

The Maryland Chapter serves the state of Maryland, excluding the counties contiguous to the District of Columbia. We welcome all Maryland grant writers and other grant professionals. Most of our current membership is from the metro areas of Baltimore, Columbia, Annapolis, and Frederick. We offer training and discussions about important grant issues. Recent topics have included community foundations, federal grants, GPCI certification, and organization sustainability.

We hold quarterly meetings at different locations. We hope to provide a convenient meeting at least once a year for our far-flung members. Training is free to Chapter members, and a nominal fee is sometimes charged for non-members.

Chapter History
The Maryland Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association (GPA) was formed in October 2009. A Maryland chapter had been discussed within the American Association of Grant Professionals, now GPA, because the closest existing chapter in Washington DC was prohibitively far for most Marylanders.
