The Grant Professionals Association (GPA) Indiana Chapter was founded in 2006 by individuals dedicated to increasing the professionalism of the grantsmanship field in Central Indiana. In 2018, the Chapter voted to increase its geographic footprint statewide. The chapter’s membership has grown significantly and is committed to advocating and supporting grant professionals as they navigate the non-profit arena.
The GPA Indiana Chapter serves the State of Indiana. Membership is open to any individual or organization with an interest in and commitment to the grants profession. Our members are:
- Grant writers
- Grant administrators and program managers
- Directors of development
- Program development directors
- Proposal and program evaluators
- Independent consultants
- Executive directors and board members
Please Note: In order to join our state Chapter, you must have a Primary Membership (ie. Professional, Entry-Level, Student, Retiree, Legacy, or Organizational). To join a chapter, log in to your GPA Account, click on "Chapters and Committees", then click "Join" next to the Indiana chapter.
INDIANA AREAS OF FOCUS: The GPA Indiana Chapter shares the strategic priorities of the National GPA, which are to establish authority for the grants profession, provide education and professional development, increase and retain members, and advance infrastructure of our Chapter through a program of outreach and cultivation of member involvement in governance.
