Welcome to the Idaho Founding Chapter of the Grant Professionals Association

The Grant Professionals Association Idaho Founding Chapter (GPA-ID) strives to create a rich learning community for grant writers by providing quality professional development, promoting statewide networking, and creating leadership opportunities for members and grant professional colleagues in Idaho.

GPA-ID was chartered in December 2018 and has members in northern, eastern, southcentral and southwestern Idaho. While we meet face to face in the Treasure Valley, we are committed to connecting our members statewide through technology that supports shared time together. Our mission is to build a supportive professional community of grant professionals committed to serving the greater public good, promoting ethical standards, adopting best practices and sharing knowledge. We are open to anyone involved with grants planning, writing, research or management. GPA-ID hosts monthly meetings that members can join in person or virtually.  We typically meet the first Wednesday of each month from 3:00 -4:30 at the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) Conference Room; 700 NE 2nd St, Meridian, ID 83642. To request internet access to the meeting contact kparker@compassidaho.org.

GPA has a growing international and affiliate chapter membership of over 2,800 active members, all of whom have an interest in the grant profession. GPA members come from all sectors of the international grants community. Idaho chapter members are quite diverse and include grant writers from small and large non-profits, higher education, government agencies and municipalities, and membership organizations. The breadth of experience is amazing with some members having over 20 years of experience and others new to the sector.
