The process to elect the 2025 GPA Board of Directors begins June 25!
VOTING HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 11:59 PM Central on October 21. Please vote!
There are three open positions on the GPA Board of Directors that will be available on January 1, 2025.
All three postions are for one three-year term that begin on January 1, 2025, and end on December 31, 2027. Current board members whose term ends on December 31, 2024 are Laura Gore, TJ Hansell, and Charlie Sagona. TJ Hansell and Charlie Sagona are eligible to serve an additional three-year term on the GPA Board of Directors.
The board positions will be filled by the candidates who receive the greatest number of votes during the board election.

August 16 2024 at 5:00 PM (CDT) | Deadline for submitting the Nomination Acceptance Questionnaire and necessary documents. |
August 19 - August 23, 2024 | Governance Committee will review the information and determine which candidates have met the qualifications and will be included in the slate of candidates |
August 23, 2024 | All nominees will be notified of their status |
August 23 - August 30, 2024 | Candidates to record (with GPA HQ assistance) video snippets about why they want to be a GPA Board Member |
August 30, 2024 | A full list of Candidates will be presented to the GPA Board |

October 22, 2024 | Announcement of election results will be made to the full membership via GPA's electronic mail platform in the weekly newsletter. Candidates will be informed, confidentially in writing, the results of their candidacy prior to the public announcement |
October 31, 2024 | Announcement of election results and Oath of Office taken at the Annual Meeting |
October 31, 2024 | Motion to Destroy Ballots made at the Annual Meeting. |
November 4, 2024 | Final date to submit a written challenge of the election results. After November 4, 2024, if there are no outstanding challenges, the ballots will be permanently destroyed and no further challenge is allowed. |
