2020 Annual Conference FAQs

Updated July 14, 2020

We have made the decision to convert the 2020 GPA Annual Conference to a fully online event. The GPA Board of Directors and staff based this decision on member feedback and current public health guidance regarding COVID-19. We believe this is the most responsible path forward for our attendees, presenters, exhibitors, and the communities we serve.

The GPA staff and the Professional Growth and Development Committee are working hard to make sure the 2020 GPA Annual Conference delivers the educational content you expect. We are exploring new ways to ensure the GPA Annual Conference remains ‘Where the Grant People Meet’ to give you the opportunity to make and keep connections with your colleagues.

General Conference

Why is the 2020 GPA Annual Conference converting to a fully online experience?

We have made the decision to convert the 2020 GPA Annual Conference to a fully online event. We believe this is the most responsible path forward for our attendees, presenters, exhibitors, and the communities we serve.

The 2020 GPA Annual Conference will now be fully online. What does this mean?

Basically, it means we are moving the fantastic content we typically share in person, to an online setting. While it won’t be the same and we are going to miss seeing all of you in-person, the conference will still deliver the educational content you expect and we are working on creative ways to help you connect with your fellow grant professionals.

When will The 2020 GPA Annual Conference take place?

The conference will still take place in November from the 4-6. The full schedule is listed on the GPA website.
