In light of recent events, the GPA Board of Directors determined that since we have a platform to encourage communication, we should use it.

Racism has no place in the Grant Professionals Association or in our society. It negatively affects us all. To be clear, we oppose racism.

GPA’s Code of Ethics asserts that our members “treat all people with dignity and respect.”

We entered this profession because we want to make our world better for all. The GPA Board of Directors stands with our diverse members who work tirelessly to support causes of all kinds, whether it is education, healthcare, the arts, government, or social justice.

Grant professionals are listeners, problem solvers, and communicators. It’s what we do. We are committed to learning from and working with our members.

Please join us in deep, difficult conversations as together we grow to become an association known for unity, support, and action. To share your ideas and words, please consider participating in the conversation on Grant Zone here and/or emailing your Board of Directors here.
