The Hyatt Regency Indianapolis, for nearly 35 years one of the city’s best-known properties, will today unveil a major renovation. The $20 million “transformation” includes renovation of all 499 rooms and the rooftop restaurant, The Eagle’s Nest. In a Studio(i) interview with Gerry Dick, General Manager Brian Comes says it’s no accident the project was completed in time for the Super Bowl.

Driving to the Conference

Are you planning to drive to the conference? Then don't drive your car-rent one instead. GPA and Hertz have partnered together to make driving even more affordable. GPA members receive discounts from Hertz.

Indianapolis Transportation

Need a ride once you land? The airport's Ground Transportation Center (GTC) is located on Level 1 of the Parking Garage. The GTC is a one-stop shop for rental cars, taxi and limousine service, commercial bus and shuttle service, public transportation via IndyGo, and hotel courtesy vehicles.

From Indianapolis International Airport
The airport has shuttles and taxis to get you to the conference hotel.

A taxi ride (one way) to the conference hotel will cost around $18-25.

Share a Ride (shuttle) with other attendees. Carey Indiana Shuttle Service has shuttles for $16.95 plus tip. They Carey Indiana booth is located in the Ground Transportation Center at the airport and across from Avis Rental Car. Shuttles are 24 hours. To make a reservation, call 800-888-INDY(4639). Once you arrive at the airport, proceed to the GTC and check-in at the Carey Indiana booth. It is best that you schedule your arrival and departure for the conference at the same time.

The Indianapolis IndyGo public transportation is the most affordable way to travel to the conference hotel. For $1.75, you can hop on the IndyGo bus #8 at the Indianapolis International Airport and take it to Ohio St/Capitol Ave Downtown. Once you arrive at the stop, walk south 2.5 blocks to the Hyatt Regency Indianpolis. Please be prepared as the entire bus ride could be 30-60 minutes long.

Around Indianapolis
Attached directly to the hotel by skywalks are various entertainment venues. You can take a stroll in the three-story mall, munch on some wonderful cuisine at one of the 200 restaurants within a three block radius or take in a movie or a theater production. The Central Canal, White River State Park, Indianapolis Zoo, Lucas Oil Stadium, Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art and more are also within walking distance.
