Professional Development

Professional Development is one of the most important tools a Grant Professional needs to be successful in their career.  

We are pleased to provide many opportunities for high quality training.  We host an annual national conference that has become known as the "Premier" training event for Grant Professionals. The conference is a three-day event every fall.  Learn details regarding the conference. 

For individuals who are unable to attend the annual conference, we provide webinars throughout the year. You may participate in a live webinar or choose to listen to the training at a more convenient time.

A peer-reviewed Journal is a document that is deeply valued and utilized by many professionals.  We have published an annual or semi-annual Journal for the past seven years.  Non-members may see a short summary of each Journal article published.  GPA members have electronic access to every Journal we have published.

Electronic newsletters are a useful professional development tool.  Our e-newsletters feature reviews of resources available to Grant Professionals and much more.
