Membership

AAGP has a growing international and affiliate chapter membership of close to 4,100 individuals, all of whom have an interest in the grants profession. AAGP members come from all sectors of the international grants community. They represent education, government, the nonprofit sector and private enterprise. They include grant developers, managers, funders, administrators, planners and evaluators. All promote and support the mission and philosophy of the association.

Membership is open to any individual with an interest in, and commitment to, the grants profession. AAGP offers a full range of membership benefits, including a subscription to AAGP’s newsletter “Take It For Granted,” the AAGP Journal, participation in the AAGP forum, along with reduced conference fees and other benefits.  Download a breakdown to see the true value of an AAGP Membership.

Membership in AAGP is more than just benefits and conferences. It is being a part of the only national, professional organization that represents the needs and concerns of grant professionals. As a member of the American Association of Grant Professionals, you will be a part of the country's largest and fastest-growing organization representing the interests of those committed to grantsmanship as a profession.

AAGP reserves the right to deny and/or revoke membership.

2010 Member Get a Member Campaign Minimize

2010 Member Get a Member (MGM) Campaign
Starting January 1, 2010 and ending on October 29, 2010

How it works...

  • Fill out the registration form and designate if you are recruiting as an individual or as a chapter.
  • The AAGP National Office will then supply you with a "Recruitment & Retention Tool-Kit". This tool-kit will include information on where to look for potential new members, ways to make the ask, when and how to follow up, a spreadsheet to track and note your activities as well as materials to distribute.
  • The National Office will track your progress from January until October 29th where the winners will be announced at the 12th Annual National Conference in St. Pete Beach, Florida. It will be your responsibility to make sure that those you have recruited or to choose to renew (for chapters) designate you as their recruiter.

Download the 2010 MGM Campaign (Front PageBack Page Form) NOW to sign up and get started!
