Welcome to the Southeast Texas Home Page

Introduction

Welcome!

The Southeast Chapter was chartered in 2005 as the first AAGP chapter in the State of Texas! The chapter encompasses Harris, Walker, Galveston, and Jefferson Counties, which stretches from the north of Conroe to the east of Beaumont to the south of Galveston and to the west of Houston and Katy, Texas.

We generally meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at United Way of Houston (50 Waugh Drive, Houston) from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.

If you are new to the area or are a grants professional in need of networking with colleagues, come join us at our meetings or attend one of our many social events!

For more information, contact our chapter President, Jerri Monbaron, at 281-641-8143 or jerri.monbaron@humble.k12.tx.us

August Chapter Meeting

Join as us we watch a CharityUniversity webinar entitled "Clean Up Your Grant Seeking Office and Raise More Money".  Here's the course description:

Streamline your grants work to bring in the most dollars for your nonprofit, with the least amount of fuss and zero suffering. Get off to a fresh start, with a course that will inspire you to get organized, building your grant seeking office to reflect the reality of how grants are won. The course covers the 7 keys to your new grants office, and how to handle the three kinds of information every grant writer has to find, keep, and use. Rather than a smattering of tips and tricks, this course gives you the principles and inspiration to design and create a grant seeking office that works for you whether you've been writing proposals for years, or you just started today.
