July 2008:

After five months full of countless emails, phone calls, follow up emails, follow up phone calls, networking, more networking, and research; Deborah Marenco succeeded in coordinating a group of grant professionals from four counties in central Florida to form the West Central Florida Chapter of AAGP.  Although many people may not have persevered, Deborah is no stranger to daunting tasks.  She is currently the Grants Compliance Accountant at Hernando County Clerk of Circuit Court's Finance Department and says that auditing grants, expenditures and preparing the SEFA and subsidiary schedules is right up her alley.

We are fortunate to have Deb among our ranks and thank her for her tireless effort making the Chapter a reality and for the continuing support she provides to our chapter.
