Gail Vertz - Chief Executive Officer

Gail has been the Chief Executive Officer of GPA since January, 2008. From 2005 to 2008, Gail served as the association's Executive Director. Previous to that, Gail provided contractual management services for the association since January, 2003. Gail is Legacy member #32 of the association. She has worked in the grants industry for over 20 years. Previous positions include: Director of Grants, Heart of America United Way for five years, Grants Manager for the Wyandotte/Leavenworth Area Agency Aging for nine years and Business Manager for HELP, Inc., a sheltered workshop for the developmentally disabled and mentally retarded.

Kelli Romero – Membership Director

Kelli started with GPA at the beginning of October, 2009. Previously, Kelli was the District Assistant to the Training and Development Manager and for two District Managers at Weight Watchers. There, she handled all of the local marketing and some event planning for the western region of the United States. She has experience in event planning, marketing and administrative duties. Outside of work, Kelli and her husband Raul own a BBQ business where they travel the country competing in BBQ cook-offs. Kelli also enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter Kyndal and their extended family.

Barb Boggs - Office & Vounteer Relations Manager

Barb started with GPA the end of July 2010. Previously, she was a Corporate Sales Coordinator with Weight Watchers where she helped setup and coordinate meetings within the Corporate Solutions and National Business entities. Prior to that Barb was a teacher and spent many summers working for Rock Springs 4-H Center, a non-profit camp & conference center owned by the Kansas 4-H Foundation. Outside of work, Barb enjoys spending time with her husband Matt, daughter Jamie, and son Evan along with a host of extended family and friends. Barb is also an avid sports fan and loves cheering on the Kansas State Wildcats and Kansas City Royals.

Talitta Bell - Administrative Manager

Talitta is the latest addition to the GPCI team - although notably the first GPCI hire to become active staff. Formerly, the Accounting Assistant to the Central Exchange, Inc., a professional development organization in Kansas City. Talitta's background strongly reflects project reconciling, financial reporting, program orchestrations, and stream-lining accounting processes. She is wife to a local entrepreneur and a mother of three, including twin daughters. As family life is a primary commitment, she's also dedicated to serving others, while fulfilling needs and creating meaningful life goals.
