FAQ
Search the Frequently Asked Questions or add one of your own! This is an interactive FAQ system that enables you to pose questions of your own in case you don't find your answer. When you submit a question, the GPA staff is notified. You'll receive an answer back via email, usually within 24 hours (weekends and holidays excepted). If your question and our answer could benefit others, we'll add it to the FAQ. Over time, this will create a valuable resource for GPA members who just need a question answered.
Also, for your conveience we have created a guide to help you navigate the website. Use this tool to help you learn the site and locate the places you wish to visit. The guide will be updated as new information is added to or changed on the site.
Q1. My email address just changed. I heard that I no longer have to contact the GPA staff to have my records updated. If so, how do I make the change?
Answer: Yes, it's true! You can now update your official GPA member contact information yourself. Here's how: Once logged in, go to Store tab. Then click on My Information in the gray menu box. This will bring up your profile where you can edit your information and update/change your password.
Q2. I have forgotten my username and password. How can I retrieve them?
Answer: If you need to retrieve your username and password, go to the login box, and click on "Forgot Password?" Enter your username (which is your primary email address) and your username and password will then be emailed to you at your registered email address. If your registered email address no longer reaches you for any reason, you will need to contact the GPA staff for assistance. See the Contact page.
Q3. Do you offer any workshops for new grant writers, particularly in the healthcare field?
Answer: While GPA is not primarily a training organization, our national and regional conferences offer a wealth of discussion among and instruction from experienced grant professionals. Some of these professionals work in health care, but most topics are for a more general audience. Additionally, there may be future opportunities for health care related grants topics through our collaboration with CharityChannel University.
Q4. I see that Chapters now have their very own section of the web site! My chapter would like to have a section. How do we get started?
Answer: Please contact the GPA offices, who is helping to facilitate the process of adding Chapter sections.
Q5. I am a private citizen in the Incorporated Village of Northport. I am attempting to get names of consultants to assist my village government in securing grants for various municipal projects. Northport Village is in Suffolk County, on Long Island, New York State.

On this page you can easily click on the state you would like to locate a consultant in or you can click on the link provided to retrieve the whole list of Grant Consultants on the site.
