Gail Vertz, Executive Director

Gail Vertz - Chief Executive Officer
 

Gail has been the Chief Executive Officer of AAGP since January, 2008.  From 2005 to 2008, Gail served as the association's Executive Director.  Previous to that, Gail provided contractual management services for the association since January, 2003. Gail is Legacy member # 32 of the association. She has worked in the grants industry for over 20 years. Previous positions include: Director of Grants, Heart of America United Way for five years, Grants Manager for the Wyandotte/Leavenworth Area Agency Aging for nine years and Business Manager for HELP, Inc., a sheltered workshop for the developmentally disabled and mentally retarded.

Kelli Romero – Membership Director

 

Kelli started with AAGP at the beginning of October, 2009. For the past couple of years, she was the District Assistant to the Training and Development Manager and for two District Managers at Weight Watchers. There, she handled all of the local marketing and some event planning for the western region of the United States. Previously Kelli helped plan United Way fundraisers and events for Reece and Nichols in Kansas City. She has experience in event planning, marketing and administrative duties. Outside of work, Kelli spends time with her husband Raul and their daughter Kyndal; she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and is a shoe shopaholic.

Office Coordinator Minimize

Barb Boggs - Office Coordinator

Barb started with AAGP the end of July 2010.  For the past 4 years she was a Corporate Sales Coordinator with Weight Watchers where she helped setup and coordinate meetings within the Corporate Solutions and National Business entities.  Prior to that Barb was a teacher and spent many summers working for Rock Springs 4-H Center, a non-profit camp & conference center owned by the Kansas 4-H Foundation.  Outside of work, Barb enjoys spending time with her husband Matt, daughter Jamie, and son Evan along with a host of extended family and friends.  Barb is also an avid sports fan and  loves cheering on the Kansas State Wildcats and Kansas City Royals.
